All I can think to say is "Lol that's what she said.". I feel like I should cut the thread but I dont know how to do that and what to do from there. In other words I don't know what to say. This makes me feel like I'm being presented with hoops.
Where do I go from here? What do I say?
What I think I should do at this point is false disqualify myself, make her jump through a hoop, and then do a fun game (cube or something)

Im not sure how to go about answering this but can I point out a potential mistake? You should have used a name after saying "a friend of mine" like saying, "a friend of mine, craig," or any other random name. If you dont use a name then she assumes it is you talking about yourself. The Mystery Method details this quite well. |

maybe its an opportunity to illustrate you understand the the position of the girl in the story. like in response to dumb to see it that way
along the lines of
that's the way i heard it but I guess she's more pissed he didnt talk to her first. |
