I've been reading into NLP, and I'm by no means an expert. I know about the VERY basics, and just that.
I know how changing questions into more commanding phrases increases the possibility someone will do something for you, etc.
I'm just curious if this works the same way. Do questions like "we're hanging out soon, right?" or "you like that, don't you?" etc do the same thing? |

Instead of making it a question I'd just say "we're hanging out soon." or "I bet you like that."
we're hanging out soon sounds kinda puppy doggish and needy. like, begging almost. |

Use presuppostions!!!!
I agree with MichaelD that you shouldn't come across as needy. Anyway, this is how you get shit done:
AFC: "We're hanging out soon, right?"
Alpha: "I'm only available next Tuesday and Thursday, so let's figure out which day we should hang out."
This assumes that you and the girl will be hanging out and that is definite. Then, it's just a matter of logistics. If you say this statement with confidence and charisma, she will react favorably and pick one of the two days or possibly even both. |

Yes. I learned that little trick from "How to be a Lady Killer" articles a few years ago, before I even knew anything about NLP. I forgot if their stuff was any good, but here's the website if you wanna take a look: [link]
That technique is especially useful for Yes-ladders.
However, I agree with the posters above. The first thing sounds needy. If you focus on the NOW and live in the moment (instead of hoping for the future with words like "soon"), you'll come off as less needy. |

Yeah, you can use, "We're hanging out soon." or "you like it." |

I watched Hypnotica's deep phone seduction last night, and he said that in hypnosis they're called "tag questions". They are a command, with confirmation built in.
I see how the first one would be needy sounding, I just couldn't think of a good example.
Thanks for the help |
