Some Girl Gave Me A Very Good Reason To Have AA...

I had a huge problem with AA and it took me a long while to get to where I was the other day. I still got nervous but could deal with the discomfort. The whole premise was "Even if they have no interest, there is very little they can say that can actually hurt me." Then this happened. I was sarging online and wrote to a hb8 because she seemed cool and said something in her profile that said she liked people who are amazing and don't even know it (me maybe?lol) so I wrote her.

ME: Hey, I'm new on this site but I havent gotten too many responses. Maybe you can tell me how amazing I am. lol

hb8:Maybe you should take not getting responses as a hint as to how amazing YOU ARE NOT!

Me: WTF? Why would you say that to me? I was only trying to talk to you?

Hb8: Yeah, well you aren't goodlooking and you should stick to girls in your own league but I bet you don't even give girls in your league the time of day. You go after girls that are way out of your league and would never date an average looking loser like you. You're Pathetic! Stop going after girls out of your league! Why would someone like you even think that I would even think twice about you?

She got me right where it hurts. She killed my self-confidence, my self-esteem and my self-image. I've never been called ugly before, in fact I've always been considered cute but I've always had a negative self-image that I've worked very hard to turn around and this girl put doubt in my mind. I guess the thing is, although this was online, sometimes there is reason to have AA. I've gotten past her tirade for the most part, but it sits in the back of my mind with every approach...

Easier said than done but forget her. I mean she doesn't know you at all, she doesn't know anything about you whatsoever. You could have been the best thing to cross her path in years but she wouldn't even know it. She is making assumptions about you based on assumptions she's made about countless other guys making a similar approach. Get out there, sarge and forget about this idiot. I'll be honest and say that I've never sarged before (all that will change by next week) but since reading all this stuff I've personally felt more confident in general, in work more than anywhere though. I used to get the piss taken out of me for being who I am by guys and girls there because I lacked selfconfidence, but since learning about the game and the people who have overcome tremendous struggles to become successful PUAs, I have found more selfconfidence and am already improving my life before having even been out on a proper sarge. She may say "oh you aren't good looking and you are going after girls way out of your league" etc but what would you rather, trying for the girls out of your league and succeeding once in a while or settling for whatever you can get and being dissapointed with yourself everytime.
To each his own but that's kinda how I see it.

If you want a why, it's probably because you took offense to it right off, she had the upper hand.

Take a metaphor of a fisherman for example. If some giant, gorgeous fish were to snap his line and get away, he'll be angry. But he has another hook in his little box, and there's a million more fish to catch.

Don't trip dude, if you're gonna have the mind to do the PUA thing, you can't break down so easily.
