I get One-itis...EVERY time it seems like. O and what to do?

I usually dont have much problem attracting girls.. My problem is i guess i have pretty high standards.. and When i find i a girl im really struck by....I go from being my cool self to being all pussy AFC. EVERYTIME. I see it happen whenever someone enters my life right away im like WOW thats real girlfriend material right there...then BAM AFC. I know i shouldnt do this and just act the way i do when i dont care and im just tryin to hook up but im having a real hard time doin it.

For Example....
This chick has been dickin around with me, since i met her. I've been trying to play her game right back to her because shes an HB9.5, and i want to see where this goes. But im having a hard time. anywho. The last time We were "supposed to get coffee" well i called her, no answer or call back until like 4 hours later she goes "o i fell asleep blah blah I'll call you later tonigh we can talk". And I tried being cool and acting like i didnt care, but i will admit i had a little irritation in my voice. Anyways she didnt call me back last night....So i deleted every trace of her, phone number, email, missed call list, fbook messages all of it. I was planning on not talking to this chick again and tonight she sends me a message.

"if your free at all this weekend we should hang out cuz my friend (name) is coming to visit me and im sure we'll need something to do. Think about it Smile

My plan was just to not respond until like friday night(If i respond at all), Because my roomates and I are throwin a massive party at my place. What do you guys think?

I get the same one-itis everytime. It's like I can't help but focus on the fact that a hot-as girl is digging me.

I realise now that I need to work on my inner game. Once I believe I'm the best choice for any woman, I won't be so focussed on getting "this one"

i know exactly what u mean, and its understandable.. the feeling is that wow i have somone interested, why do i need someone else... there is the "neil strauss" cure which entails scroing 12 other women...

or just the idea go out sarging more often and u'll meet alot more women, after a while u will start to notice u have no need for one-itis!

I have one-itis too. My understanding is that I need to have more than one girlfriend to eliminate one-itis.

Last time I had one-itis until now was in April. I ended up having to eliminate her from my life. We exchange a comment or two over AIM maybe every three months, it was a tad easier because she was graduating college and I was going into sophomore year so we were both busy as hell. I worked in a job that pretty much opened girls for me and got over 35 # closes in about 20 days of work. That's how much it took me to get over her.

I just went down that list when school started, K-closed, and F-closed a little less than half in a week. Then I got about 3/4 through when I got one-itis again...I'v sarged other girls since, #, K, and F-closed since and I still can't get this chick out of my head (She's back with her ex, and very very very loyal to the point where she won't talk to me [I think because she is still attracted to me and doesn't want anything to happen while she is in a relationship]) I am not a homewrecker, especially since he apparently treats her well, so oh well.

IT SUCKS. IT SUCKS A LOT OF ASS. However, you can't let it PREVENT you from doing what you do and playing the game and being the PUA of whatever level you are. I think about this girl as I'm sarging, and as I am being physically in whatever sense with a girl.

I like to call this the backburner. I have to cook what's ON the front of the stove NOW, and maybe LATER I will check on the food in the BACK. My advice: be you, be confident, be alpha, be funny, get laid, get numbers, makeout with girls, and just have a good time when you go out. Sometimes the best way to get over her is to go out with the mindset not to sarge, but just to enjoy your night and have fun. Time is the only thing that does it, but to help pass the time, just make sure you don't let it visibly affect your game with other women.

ha man it happens to most of us, at one point we were all like this, you just gotta remember no F close in the end if you turn afc, my sticking point is when Im drunk and absolutely bored because the night is ending I turn afc, it sucks, thats why now I will no longer have my phone by my side when I do decide to drink when the nights over, just keep your head high man and remember right when your about to turn afc its not worth it! I screwed up many of times like that bro, youll get it eventually it all just comes natural.

I absolutely cannot disagree with any of the posts that I've read. I've been there and Im actually fighting a one-itis situation currently so its encouraging to hear the advices.

I have been in that same situation and I'd suggest you guys get some FBs... thats the easiest way not to become AFC... I think its because you let your emotions/physical things out on the FB about who you ultimately don't care and eventually you can be yourself around the HB...
