One of my buddies organizes clubs which more or less targets highschool age . I agreed to promote for him and i think this is the best thing i have done. I am selling tickets so the more tickets i sell the more i make. This is awesome because last night when i went by the mall i opened a set or two and two girls working to chit chat and pass out flyers. Nothing drives someone like money.

Yerp I've found a really easy way to open a set if you are very shy is to advertise something (other than yourself lol).

I was working for a Rave production and just handing out flyers...only problem is transitioning between topics.

E.G
"Hey so have you guys ever been to a rave?"
"no"
*hand out flyer*
"You guys are most definitely missing out!"
*where bouts is it*
"where do u live?*
"blah blah"
"Oh, i have a funny story bout that place"....

just an example, pretty bad one but yer...handing out flyers gives you more of a reason to talk to them and makes you feel a bit more reassured.

Yeah, opening is really hard. Fear of rejection always plays in the back of your mind... What if she blanks me? etc etc.

But the thing is, once you open your first set, the rest become easy.

Material helps if you need something to fall back on.

Yeah ur right, I work at macys, n one of the shits the ask if u expect to keep ur job, is if u approach all customers. I wus a really shy dude, so at first it wus tricky I didn't go for cute girls mostlyy dudes and older women, but after a while u grow more comfortable with it. Now I have a habit of looking ppl in the face(which I didn't hav b4) and at the mall or anyother public place I have a tendency of nodding or saying hey how you doing too anyone that looks directly at me, wit the exeption of super cute girls lol, am getting there...

Finding a job that expects u to approach ppl is a great way to practice ur social skills and make some $$$

Yea i think that you just have to force yourself to do it. For example, i work in a really busy coffee shop. a few HB's come in, but its mostly the average woman you know. It surprising how open people can be if you are approachable and open with them. Its such a boost in confidence when you start getting flirting going on infront of a que and your only 18.

Yo kid you are absolutely right, Just tell you about a little of myself, i have 3 jobs two where I'm mainly around women, one is forever 21, and the other is dave n busters, and it is inevitable that you are going to talk to women especially if your not a loser(stay well dress all the time it helps a lot), so stay out there, its gets completely easer, the had part is not asking chicks out(all my managers are women{its a chick store}I'm only allowed to flirt with costumers), but thats just my situation. I can still get numbers a DnB tho, so I'm cool.

Yea man, i really hate the fear of rejection, but me and a buddy of mine were at a club, and the bartender wasnt bad.

Now ive been waiting at the bar for a few minutes, and she knows that, but never asked for my order.

So i signal her to come over to me so i can order a drink.

Me: Whose dick do you have to suck to get a redbull around here?
Her: *looks at me with a WTF look on her face*
Me: *immediately after she looked at me funny* "Can i get a redbull please?"
Her: *hands me redbull* "4 Dollars"
Me: 4 Bucks? Jesus Christ! Does it come with your number?
Her: *Looks at me and turns her head away immediately so i cannot see an expression on her face*

I get my change and thats all that happend, she was a real bitch so fuck her. The dude bartender got her back for us and dropped somthing on purpose so she would pick it up (she had a very small skirt)

Im glad I did it because I was really shy at first, but I just said in my mind (wtf ill give it a go).

Open all the random people you see on the street, with hey how r u, for everytime you go anywhere, ull eventually start making a core identity change and opening hbs will become a breeze

Wut i do to force myself is to just go by the 3 second rule. If i cant think of a good opener in 3 seconds, I just open up with "Hi."
