I bought 64 valentines cards wrote a message on the back with my name and e-mail address and passed them out to 2 weeks before valentine's day to every attractive woman I saw. I received a 75% response, I was so taken back by the success of this I began to wonder if I should use business cards without promoting a business but myself to plant a seed in a woman's head to contact me. All my friends were impressed when they started seeing the e-mails with the phone numbers attached to them.
Do you guys use business cards? if so, what kind?

That is an insane response rate. What kind of message did you write on them? What kind of cards did you use? What did you say when you passed them out?

I carry personal business cards with me that I had made at Office Max. They cost $30 for 250 of them. They are full color and very nice. I rarely give them to women, though. I actually use them for business and networking purposes. If a woman is into you, though, and you give her one, she will keep it, I have found that out.

I received an email from socallair.com that said this;

Hey guys, it’s 14 Days away to Valentine’s and if you don’t have
a girl in your life yet, or you want an upgrade, take my challenge. If
you follow my rules I guarantee that you’ll have a date by v-day.
It’ll be fun and easy.

Today: Go to Rite Aid, Sav-On, Walmart, Target, or any store of the
such and buy three boxes of cheap valentine day cards. They come in 32
packs and are about $3 each. Remember giving these out in elementry
school? And you had to give one to each person in your class or non at all?
Those are it! And remember the funnier, sillier and cheezier the better.

[SEE IMAGES ON [link] - blog]

Tomorrow: Write your name, phone number, and a short message on each of
the cards, include the candy or sticker it came with and treat each
one like it is your chance to get a hot girl…because it is! Carry them
around with you at ALL times. A minimum of 10, put some in your car,
your wallet, jacket and pants.

[SEE IMAGES ON [link] - blog]

For the next 14 days: Your goal is to give out 8 a day for the next 14
days. That’ll be 112 girls that you will have asked out on a date and
have your phone number. When was the last time you were able to give
our your number to 112 girls in two weeks?

Who to give it to: Any attractive woman you see, ANYWHERE. Because it
is such an easy little gimmick, you can give it to women you pass by on
the street, in elevators, at restaurants, in the mall, and of course
night clubs and bars.

What to say to the girl:

“Hi, I wanted to give you a valentine’s day card”
“Hi, I know I don’t know you yet, but here.”
“I just had to give this to you”
“Will you be my valentine?”
Or if you’re really shy, just go up say hi, hand it to her and walk
away.

I love that valentines day idea. Im sure the girls thought it was really cute.

Buisness cards seem kinda cheesy IMO. Only use them if you are promoting your business.

That sounds like an awesome idea; I was planning to get some business cards printed anyway, but since you claim they work that well, I'll push it up the priority ladder a bit. What was the message you put on it? I think you have everyone here intrigued!

I think we need to see a pic of the card, censoring the personal info of course. With a response rate like there's gotta be something to this and I would love to figure out the nuts and bolts of why it worked so well.

I bought cheesey Snoopy and Pirates of the Carribean valentine's cards from hallmark. The message I wrote on the back went like this.

Roses are red
Violets are blue
You're kinda cute
So I chose you!

I wrote my name and e-mail address as well. I was thinking to pass out cards for every holiday.
Any ideas?

Handing out business cards would be an invite for rejection. Everyone knows that a woman should work to give you her number, hence the game.

If you give her your number she may not call and therefore you have a rejection and nobody likes rejection.
Game a woman and she will give you her number in the hope that you call her, meaning you decide what happens next and putting you in control.

Game is not about advertising yourself to every HB that passes by and seeing which will call and which will not, it's about choosing which desirable woman deserves to have you call her and then working on how you are going to persuade her that she has has done herself a favour by giving you the number which you knew you were going obtain all along!

I don't agree MrCrystal,
By giving HB's my card (which have my e-mail address not phone#) I am showing them I have the confidence to approach them and give them the option to contact a confident man that knows what he wants.
As far as rejection goes, rejection is only that if thats your mind frame. I take everything as a learning experience not rejection. Therefore I have nothing to lose when I approach women and they sense it.
Gaming is a numbers game even if you're real good at it, I don't know anyone that has 10/10 ratio when it comes to picking up chicks, obviously your chances are better if you are a PUA but not perfect.
Most of the women I gave my cards to contacted me which put me in a position to decide whom I was gonna choose to pursue.

A fair point and I kind of see what you're saying Krush. Personally though I like the challange of trying to number close myself, By giving our your e-mail address almost takes this element away.

What I do like is the fact that you, as many guys on these boards are doing is trying to experiment with game. Changing things and trying new things out in the field is what it's all about, we can all learn by doing and by sharing this kind of material adds even more ammo to an already heavily armoured arsenal.

I have been considering the buisness card idea since i started, for one reason and use alone...

Real Time Constraints...if you need to go and dunt have the time for whatever routine you use to get a number, id rather give mine quickly then have no exchange at all.

If they are legit buisness cards, say your a musician, and you talked about it a bit, then it makes sence to give one.

I could also see it working for like waitress's...you sign your check put it with a card and maybe a lil note on the back in the folder thingy..and leave....of course assuming you gamed her earlier b4 you checked out.

Otherwise i think the best thing to do is work on getting her number, which gives you the power and leverage to control the frame.
